Free Breast Pump (Through Insurance)

 Most insurance plans cover a breast pump at no cost during pregnancy or postpartum. 

How to get it: Call your insurance or use a pump supplier like Aeroflow or Edgepark. 

WIC Benefits

Pregnant women can receive:

  • Free healthy foods
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Infant formula (after birth)
  • Women are eligible for benefits for 6 months after pregnancy (Including pregnancy loss) 
  • Available through: Local WIC offices.

Free Prenatal Vitamins

Many clinics, health departments, and WIC offices provide prenatal vitamins at no cost.  Certain Walgreen stores also offer free prenatal vitamins through a program called "Vitamin Angels."

Free Pregnancy & Parenting Classes

Hospitals, health departments, and nonprofits offer free classes on:

  • Labor & delivery
  • Breastfeeding
  • Safe sleep
  • Newborn care

Free Baby Boxes or Safe Sleep Items

Free Formula Samples

Brands like Similac, Enfamil, and Gerber send free formula samples when moms sign up. 

Free Medicaid Coverage for Pregnancy

Pregnant women often qualify for Medicaid even if they didn’t qualify before pregnancy. Apply at:  https://www.ssa.gov/medicare 

Free Car Seat Programs

Some hospitals, fire departments, and nonprofits offer:

  • Free car seats
  • Car seat safety checks

Free Baby Welcome Boxes

Many retailers offer free baby boxes when moms create a registry:
